Engineering Leader • Platform Architect • Builder of Reliable Systems
I lead technology platforms that help large organizations operate with
clarity, resilience, and scale. My work focuses on modernizing
operational systems, building strong engineering organizations, and
designing platforms that allow complex environments to run smoothly.
I believe the best technology leaders build sustainable systems not only
in software, but also in life --- balancing ambitious work with family,
curiosity, and continuous learning.
My career has centered around designing and leading the systems that
keep large organizations running. Much of the technology I build
operates behind the scenes: platforms responsible for reliability,
observability, automation, and operational intelligence across complex
enterprise environments.
I currently serve as **Vice President, Enterprise Operations Product at
Fidelity Investments**, where I lead product strategy for enterprise
operational platforms supporting Fidelity's global technology ecosystem.
A major initiative I oversee is the **replatforming of Fidelity's
enterprise Event Management capabilities**, modernizing how the
organization detects and responds to operational signals across
thousands of systems. This effort combines cloud-native architecture,
event-driven design, and AI-assisted operational tooling to improve
system visibility, reduce alert noise, and strengthen incident response.
In practical terms, my work focuses on helping organizations make their
platforms:
• more observable
• more resilient
• easier to operate at scale
My work sits at the intersection of engineering leadership, platform
architecture, and operational strategy.
Across roles at companies including Fidelity Investments, CBRE,
Progyny, Argyle, and WeWork, I've built and led engineering teams
responsible for enterprise platforms used by tens of thousands of users
globally.
Some of the problems I enjoy working on most include:
• Event-driven platform architecture
• Observability and operational intelligence
• Large-scale engineering leadership
• Modernizing legacy systems
• Aligning product strategy with engineering execution
At CBRE, I led engineering for the Host digital workplace platform
used across hundreds of buildings worldwide.
At Progyny, I served as VP of Engineering, guiding the company
through an agile transformation and leading development of a
microservices-based billing platform.
Earlier in my career I co-founded Tentrr, building a booking and
payment platform for outdoor hospitality experiences.
While my background is deeply technical, what motivates me most is
building organizations and platforms that create long-term impact.
Leading the replatforming of large-scale monitoring and event management
systems to reduce alert noise and improve operational response across
complex enterprise environments.
Exploring how AI-assisted operations and modern telemetry pipelines can
help organizations better understand and respond to operational signals.
Helping organizations transition from fragmented operational tooling
toward cohesive platform ecosystems.
Continuing to refine how engineering teams scale while maintaining
ownership, autonomy, and operational excellence.
The most important part of my life is my family.
I'm the father of **two kids --- a son and a daughter --- currently in
middle school and grade school**, and much of my time outside of work
revolves around being present for them while still pursuing work that
challenges me intellectually.
Outside of engineering leadership, a few things keep me grounded:
I've been collecting vinyl records for years. There's something about
slowing down, putting on a record, and listening to an album
front-to-back that feels increasingly rare in a streaming world.
I'm a lifelong **Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan**. Anyone who
follows Buffalo sports understands that loyalty is part passion and part
endurance.
Training Jiu-Jitsu has become an important discipline for me. It's an
endless study in problem solving, pressure, and patience. Much like
engineering, small adjustments and consistent practice compound over
time.
Some topics I spend time exploring and thinking about:
• AI-assisted operations and AIOps
• Event-driven architectures
• Enterprise observability platforms
• Systems thinking in large organizations
• Platform engineering as an operational discipline
